Saucony ProGrid Ride

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion

The Ride now has segmented heel sections in the outsole for better shock absorption and smoother heel to midfoot transition. The upper has been made lighter and more breathable.

Saucony’s overhaul of the shock absorber grid in the heel is designed to give this model more of a performance-shoe feel. According to our lab tests the segmented outsoles do spread the impact and give softer heel cushioning than previous versions of the ProGrid Ride. Testers found that the shoe kept the feet dry and cool. Our wear-testers say:

“These kept my feet extremely cool, were a perfect fit and really comfortable, but they did cause me to run on the outside of my feet slightly.” - Graham Taylor
