Skechers GObionic

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
Low weight and perceived springy feel.

Poor weatherproofing, not suitable for running in heavy rain.

Running shoe newcomer Skechers won the Best Debut award for its GOrun in our Spring/Summer 2012 Shoe Guide. This time it’s taken the Editor’s Choice gong with this zero-drop, stripped-down version of that model. The shape of the outsole is gently curved to encourage a midfoot strike, while the outsole itself is split into 16 sections, which move individually to better support the bones in your foot. Testers loved everything about it, especially the flexibility, responsiveness, low weight and perceived springy feel. However, poor weatherproofing means they’re not suitable for running in heavy rain.
