Adidas adiStar Control 4

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
The latest adiStar Control uses a technology in the rearfoot called ForMotion. If you'd become used to the previous model's GCS, then don't worry, it's the same stability device - designed to absorb horizontal as well as vertical impact shock - with a new name. That means the changes to the Control are mainly aimed at improving the shoe's fit and feel. It boasts a softer sockliner that incorporates two layers of memory foam for a more comfortable feel, and the shoe's new seamless upper reduces blister risk. The outsole features firmer rubber on the inner edge that gives the shoe added support and helps guard against pronation at toe-off.
