The 3D Formotion unit in the heel has been improved to give better multi-directional shock absorption and control. It's built on adidas' new wider last and features a softer sockliner for a softer feel. As with the Supernova Cushion 7, the new last and plush sockliner have made the Control a much more wearable shoe, with good out-of-the-box comfort. Our lab tests show that it's very soft for a motion control model. However, some testers felt they were a little 'slappy' and heavy.
