Underneath the new name, fans will recognise the Control 10 as an update of the Supernova Control. The 3D Formotion unit in the heel has been updated along with the plastic torsion unit under the arch, to give a smoother transition. The forefoot is slightly wider than before.

The Control 10 really improved in its last incarnation and thankfully little has changed here, bar the name. The simplified Torsion unit means the foot arch feels less supported than before, but it’s still a very stable shoe. Our lab tests showed that it’s as responsive and flexible as before, but the cushioning is a lot softer – something our testers picked up on and enjoyed.
