I am over 200 pounds so a good motion control running shoe is crucial. The F8 is the best.. this week:-)

Comfortable absobs the shock of my heel strike & supports my arches.
Fantastic I will be buying the F9. I rotate my running shoes but my F8s are still in great condition after more than 18 months.

Good bog standard max support trainer. I have two pairs.

Great for support, really does what it says on the box, max support and lasts a long time. I wear two pairs in rotation and even after a year (am the average 20 miles p/wk runner plus other gym things) they show no creases and have life in them yet!

They are not as soft as the Evolution which offers the same level of support. They also don't look as pretty as the Kayano, Nimbus or the Nike Lunarglides which I wish I could wear (either no cash, or no support).

They have little to complain about, not 'WOW' trainers (like the Evolution 6) but not a bad word to say about them really to be honest.
I have just bought a pair of Foundation 9s and theres little in the differences between these and their replacements. They offer great support and have a great lifespan, lasting longer then previous trainers from Asics I have had (1150, 2150).

I would rebuy the foundation 9 rather then the 8s because they are a tiny bit more cushiony at the ankle, but other then that I don't feel the differences.

Undecided

Lightweight, good support
Causing ankle / knee pain but this could be due to me not being used to them yet.
I would get a gait analysis done to ensure you are getting the right shoe for the right gait. The shoe looks good and sounds good but at present its causing me some discomfort, like i say it could take a few sessions to get used to the supportiveness of them. I will be keeping an open mind!!!

IMPRESSIVE

Great stability, excellent cushioning especially around the upper ankle.
No real weakness however the shoe is quite a lump however this dosnt seem to effect its performance.
Great shoe/model following in the footsteps (no pun intended) of its predecessors
