Brooks Addiction 8

Another overdue upgrade, the shoe’s cushioning has been promoted to MoGo. It uses a repositioned overlay in the forefoot and a section of midsole foam along the inside to hold the arch in place. This works with a support column in the midsole to provide motion control.

The Addiction is more supportive than ever and heavier than previous incarnations. However, our lab tests show that it’s surprisingly flexible for a shoe so far up the support spectrum and wear-testers commented on the mobile forefoot. Our wear-testers say:

"Very comfortable. No breaking in required. The flat profile of the sole (new to me) proved as good as any other." - Alison Eaton
