I find these very firm on the road. They offer excellent grip and stability however, in all conditions.

EXCELLENT GRIP AND STABILITY VERY STURDY
RIDE IS TOO HARD.THEY ARE QUITE HEAVY. A HALF SIZE UP IS REQUIRED.
THE CLOTH OUTER CAN FRAY AND TWO HOLES ARE APPEARING IN MINE

Perfect for the heavy Overpronator!!

Brilliant heal cushioning, excellent control for over pronation. They come in D (normal width) and 2E (wide fit). Very comfortable and good for long distance.
They are a bit chunky and bulky, also not to good for fast running. They are also difficult to find online or in shops especially in the large sizes.
I've done a lot of looking around to find good motion control running shoes and these are by far the best shoes I have had. If you are lucky enough to find a pair in your size I would definately buy them, infact it would be a good idea to buy 2 pairs.

Fantastic! A god send for my shattered shins!

Excellent support and cushioning. Good for over-pronation and big boys like me. The solution to my Post Tib injury on the left and the runners knee on the right that has been with me for 10 months.
Expensive, very heavy and quite ugly but that's the price you pay to run in comfort then so be it! You don't mind muddying these up they're that ugly!
I have very poor lower body mechanics and shouldn't really run in the first place but it's the only way to stop my 20 a day habit and to keep the flab off so have little choice.
If you over-pronate like me and have the associated injuries, then try these Beasts before expensive visits to podiatrists and extortionately priced orthotics. Would have saved me hundreds if I found these excellent running shoes when I got my injury and if I got them when I started running probably wold have prevented the injury in the 1st place!
