A heavy, but protective, shoe that goes against the current trend for lighter-weight motion-control. Best suited to severe overpronators.

New Balance’s latest challenger to the Brooks Beast/Ariel is – like its rival – a hefty, straight-lasted old-fashioned motion-control shoe.
