I FOUND THESE TO BE THE BEST MC SHOES.

I've had Asics MC's, Brooks Beast and even Turn Tec back in the day. But the New Balance Shoes are the best I have had. Note I am a heavy runner. A real one, currently 16 stone. Will be doing Great North Run so I do alot of miles in them.

REAL CLUNKERS

A lot of support?
Heavy and lacking cushioning.
I bought some of these because I liked the 1121. These weigh about three times as much and bear no relation. Apart from the weight I think the roll bar is a problem as it seems to transmit every impact with the pavement straight into my joints. I'm only 11st so maybe I not heavy enough for these shoes. I'll be sticking with the Brooks Addictions

GREAT FOR MY FOOT TYPE

Excellent support - I'm a heavy over-pronator (is that redundant?). Very comfortable after being broken in. Although quite a heavy she, I didn't notice their weight all that much.
Not a very good looking shoe. Quite blocky and the arch-protection is not flattering. On the other hand, it's a functional item, not fashion accessory.
Very happy with my shoes. Last year, I replaced my old set with the exact same style as my wear had been so even on the sole that it seemed they were perfectly suited to my foot.
