Best I've ever had, just bought 2nd pair now!!

Ideal for over pronators
Long lasting
Excellent quality
Nothing
Having bought many many pairs of trainers, spending lots of money, trying different brands and having gait analysis I couldn't get a pair of trainers to suit, I would always run for about 30 minutes no problem the a blister would start to build on the arch of my foot, right worse than left, then also get a sore ankle after i ran, so after doing more research I found the new balance 1222, they are wonderful trainers no blister problems or ankle soreness. I've had the same pair for sometime and decide to invest in a new pair as my others are getting somewhat tatty and are not as effective anymore, if you're a heavy overpronator like me these are the best trainer around!! I've tried loads inc Asics which may I add cost me 4 times the price, go out and buy them now!! Happy running

OVERALL VERY GOOD SHOE, NICE CUSHIONING, STABLE, BARGAIN !

Excellent Cushioning, very good stabiltiy, Price - I paid £45 for these
Heavy - ish, lacing system makes it harder to keep then done up tight
Very happy with them. A little on the heavy side. I plan to use them as a work horse training shoe, an absolute bargain at £45 from dorunning.com.

LONG LASTING COMFY SHOE

Durability, over 600 miles and still going, easy to get on and off,
very stiff when new, too expensive
Excllent combination of support and comfort but £100 is too much (got mine at a big discount). been my workhorse pair of shoes for a marathon, loads of 90 min + runs, no problems.

NOT SURE

They look nice and well made.
The sole started to come away from the midsole after 11.5 miles. Toe box is a bit of an odd shape for my toes. I bought a second pair while trying to sort out a return and although they are supposed to be exactly the same size and width they feel completely different and are too small, so now I have two pairs to return.
I was very pleased with them when they arrived and got them for a superb price, but now I am thinking of buying a different brand with predicatable sizing....or was I just unlucky? Poor value because the first pair are falling apart after just a few days and the second are a completely different size.

LIKE RUNNING ON FEATHERS

Fantastic cushioning for a shoe that offers so much support! It seems to me that you usually get one or the other, but in this case New Balance have got it spot on!
As a flat-footed overpronator, getting shoes that offer enough support has been a real challenge. The M767s offer great support but have a rather uncomfortable ride; giving them impression of running in sturdy walking boots! The 1222s are by far the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn!
As usual, NB have made this shoe in 2 different widths. Something that a lot of manufacturers do not do!
The cost has to be the big setback although there are a few outlets that are selling them cheap at the moment, presumably to make way for a new line.
Excellent shoe.
Soft as a pillow to run on, without compromising on the stability features.
