EXCELLENT FOR ME
I've got wide feet so I've always appreciated NB width fittings.
Fitted me perfectly straight away.
They have a very deep toe box which I like as they don't pressurise the toes at all.
Just the right combination of cushioning and control for me.
I'm 6 foot 1.5 inches and about 12 stone 10lbs.
I suppose they are quite expensive.
Watch out for small size ratings - I am usually a size 12 but needed 12.5 (UK) for these.
The deep toe box which is great for me might not suit everybody.
I had the 1222s before which I loved - did a marathon and a half in those without any problems.
The 1223s feel broadly similar although I know there have been some design changes.

VERY NICE =)
Very supportive but also very nice cushioning.
It has the cushioning under the innersole rather than the hardboard which isn't so good for orthotics to sit on. The colourway down under is pale blue, I'm sick of pale blue shoes.
I've moved to this from Brooks Adrenalin - am loving the extra softness and cushioning in the NB 1223 with no lose of stability and support. Comfortable right out of the box.
