Adidas adiSTAR Ride 3

Increased cushioning in the crash pad and excellent traction

The mesh across the toebox creased in awkward places for faster runners

What's new? Increased cushioning in the heel crash pad to reduce shock impact.

We say
Adidas has done little to change what was already a model popular for a super smooth, plush ride. A slightly deeper tread pattern than the previous model gives excellent traction in icy weather. But, though comfort scored highly, faster runners found that the mesh across the toebox, while flexible, also creased in awkward places. Recommended for neutral runners looking for a sturdy shoe for longer distances.

Wear testers say "A really comfy shoe but support was suitable only for mild overpronators." Laura Stephens
