Brooks Dyad 7

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion

So heavy is the outer construction, this looks almost like a motion control shoe, and in this stripped-down age it’s rare to see a shoe that tops 350g. It meets the needs of large runners with a neutral gait, or those who use orthotics. To the previous version Brooks has added omega-shaped flex grooves and a caterpillar crash pad to provide greater flexibility – a move that worked as our lab confirmed an improvement in responsiveness over the previous version. The lacing system is also impressive, with the fit across the top being close without having to pull the laces too tight.
