FIRM, SNAPPY, SLAPPY!

Exceptional cushioning in the heel and to a slightly lesser extent in the forefoot. Plush lining and the laces are a nice touch.
Perhaps a little too quick heel-to-toe for me although this adjustment is something I probably needed. Takes time to break in.
I got this shoe to try an alternative to Asics' Kayano range but instead find it more of a complement - one for longer runs (Kayano), this one for shorter runs or races.

HEAVY BUT SMOOTH

Smooth ride. Just as fast as lighter shoes.
Heavy and expensive.
I've been running on these for about 8 weeks now and I like them. I usually go for much lighter ones, the Precision's, but wanted to try out the new Infinity Wave system.
I'm a light person and I think these shoes are build for normal to heavy runners. I have had a heavier model before, the Legend (I think), and those hurt my feet.
The Creation 8's do not hurt, it's a comfortable smooth ride from the rear to the front. Stable too and they feel just as fast as lighter ones right from the first run on.
I'm not going to use them for races but this is a good comfortable training shoe.
A fine shoe but I will go for the lighter and less expensive Precision's next time. Those are just more me.

TOP QUALITY... BUT...

Cushioning = probably THE best shoe o the market I think... better than anything ASICS currently offers who are my other current top make.

Feel When Moving = Motion from heel to toe is exceptional, feel like it's properlling you forward as opposed to them simply sitting on your feet.

Looks = Insane, but not embaressing...
The heel stability = This has caused me amassive blister, as the heel is very "tight", and with them not being very flexible, it is something I need to sort out next time I run. Apart form that, no dodgy blisters around the forefoot so spot on.

Expensive!!! WAYYY TOOO EXPENSIVE!!!
I've owned, Creation 5's and 6's (missed the boat on 7's)... and will say that they're the comfiest trainers I've ever had.

I'd say they could do with reducing ever so slightly the sixe of the toe end, as there seems a large amount of space there... and need to make thsi heel support slightly less intrussive (thus reducing rubbing on the inner heel)...

Overall, a top shoe... one of the best!

GOING AGAINST THE GRAIN..I COULDN'T GET ON WITH THESE AT ALL

Ride very firm and I could see this shoe lasting longer than my Riders. But as I loathed wearing them that was somewhat academic.
Felt like I was wearing breezeblocks compared to my WaveRiders. They didn't have that slipper-like feel I have become accustomed to with my previous Mizunos. Also..and for the first time ever...managed to blister both feet after a 15 miler despite wearing in. I was incredulous and very disappointed.
After years of loving my Mizuno WaveRider models I thought I'd try something different. What an expensive mistake! I've returned to the latest WaveRider and am happy again.
