VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Great looking, great fitting shoe, well cushioned shoe
Slightly too high so a little unstable, the sole is a little to rigid and doesn't have enough give.
I absolutely loved my Waverider 12's and when the shop didn't have any left he offered me this supposedly better, more expensive shoe at the Waverider price. It felt OK on the treadmill in the shop, but out on the road I never really got used to it. I stuck with them for a few months and miles none the less, then bought some more Waveriders and it felt like welcoming back an old friend!

FIRM CUSHIONING WOULD SUIT HEAVIER RUNNER

Supportive
Too firm for a lighter runner
Clack clack clack clack clack... get used to this sound if you buy this shoe because that's all you'll hear when you're out on the road. A huge shock after wearing the super-cushioned ASICS Gel Nimbuses for so long. Very firm underfoot. Worn with orthotics instead of the Mizuno insole, it felt like wearing platform shoes. They're heavy too. I might try the Mizuno Wave Rider or go back to the ASICS Nimbus.

SUPER SHOE

Great support and comfy.
none
I love this shoes, along with Asics Nimbus 10 I have found this to be the best shoe for me as a neutral runner of 17 odd stone.

EXCELLENT SHOE FOR THOSE WHO REQUIRE EXTRA CUSHIONING.

Well designed, proven technology that really protects from jarring off the road. Good fit and surprisingly responsive.
Find shoe a bit heavy for running track sessions where cushioning not really an issue - I bought pair of Wave Precisions for track work.
Great shoe, thoroughly recommend it.

APPALLING UPDATE TO A GREAT SHOE

Same midsole/outsole as version 8
New upper is awful - irritates the feet, tongue can't sit centrally, cheap and nasty !
Version 8 of the Creation was awesome - great fit, very cushioned and durable new midsole (Infinity Wave). Wore 2 pairs back to back with no issues, no pain in my legs, absolutely wonderful.

Mizuno tend to bring out a completely new shoe (version 8 in this case), then leave the midsole the same for the next version (9), changing the upper only. This time they've got it completely wrong - the new upper is an attempt to make the shoe move with the foot, but it's a horribly cheap, nasty, botched attempt. Essentially just a big strip of elastic down one side of the foot which pulls the upper out of shape and irritates the foot. Absolutely awful ! Will be buying more version 8s and hope they sort it out for version 10 !
