Mizuno Wave Enigma 2

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
Heavier runners enjoyed the fact that for them, heel-to-toe transition was smooth and effortless.

High arched runners complained of foot pain.

If you’re a small, light runner or you have high arches, this is not the shoe for you. For everyone else, it’s definitely worth looking into. It takes time to wear in but after three to four runs the stability, beautiful fit, impressively breathable mesh and feeling of reliability kick in. The hard plastic midfoot shank that runs the length of the sole probably contributes to a lack of responsiveness, and high-arched runners complained of foot pain due to this; but heavier runners enjoyed the fact that, for them, heel-to-toe transition was smooth and effortless.
