Saucony GRID Triumph 3

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
The latest Triumph is built on the Jazz X last which makes for a snugger heel. The upper is a breathable mesh with a new arch-lock overlay designed to wrap the foot more securely. Wear-testers loved the fit of the shoe around the rearfoot, but some did comment that the forefoot was a little roomy. Extra foam pods in the heel and forefoot enhance cushioning, and the “decoupled” heel design, with deeper grooves in both the midsole foam and outsole rubber of the heel, helps soften impact. Wear-testers commented on the excellent grip provided by the aggressively lugged forefoot - it's a road shoe but forays off-road seemed to cause few problems.
