Under Armour Apparition

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
Plush cushioning

High-arch fit
The Apparition is a very well-cushioned shoe, with thick plugs of Under Armour's Cartilage gel in the heel to absorb shock and plush full-length foam in

the midsole.

Under Armour's first stab at a high-cushioning shoe was well received by our testers. Our lab tests show the Apparition to be very flexible and responsive with cushioning just the soft side of average. The stretchy built-in tongue gave a snug fit while wide-footed runners shouldn't have a problem with forefoot fit. In all a good shoe for high-arched runners wanting lots of bounce.

Our wear-testers say:

"The shoes were very comfortable and didn't require any 'running in'. Their lightness and flexibility is more suitable as a racing shoe rather than purely for training runs." - Peter Brown
