BRILLIANT!
Waterproof - tested time and time again off-road through muddy trails and puddles. Excellent grip, great cushioning.
Yet to be found!
Superb comfort, grip, cushioning and great to finish a long off-road run with dry feet.
Also have Reebok Gore-Tek off-road shoes, slightly cheaper, better cushioning. Good to have 2 pairs to let the mud dry out between runs!

TERRIBLE QUALITY
Comfortable, excellent grip. Saying that they are my first pair of off roaders so I may not know any better.
Outer skin started to split after 6 months around the front where your toes bend. Inner skin followed shorty behind. Totally not durable for what they are supposed to be for. A standard pair of Asics would have lasted longer.
Have always sworn by Asics as they got me around my first marathon, seemed to go on for ages and left my feet/legs intact. These shoes have undone all that. Poorly made and frankly a bit of a rip off.

COMFORT & SUPPORT BUT SO HEAVY!
Supportive, dry & warm in the wet. Good fit & cushioning. Grip is adequate.
Much too heavy.
Not as good as current Kayanos; needs a major update to reduce the weight.

WORTH THE MONEY
I have done (todate) just short of 900 miles in my latest pair and they are just starting to show the wear and tear. They are superb for the first few hundred miles and more lately they have not been waterproof. this is my second pair and the latest one is a better build and a more durable shoe. the sole will never wear out as most mileage should be off road - more likely that the top disintegrates as it is continually wet with mud and the like.
weight and price. they are great for training but not racing.
they are not as breathable as you might think after a few hundred miles the pores tend to clog up and you end up with sweaty feet - something all trail shoes are prone to
a good shoe and I am in the market for my 3rd pair.

EXCELLENT - GREAT FIT
Quality, fit, very good if you want a shoe which has good grip on the trail, whilst being more than acceptable for a little road running to reach the trail in the first place. Also they keep your feet dry unless you completely immerse them.
Expensive if you can't get them on offer.
Highly recommended if you need a balanced shoe.
