Asics Gel Trabuco 12
Any shoe that has 12 versions of it released must be doing something right, and so it proved here. The Gel cushioning system provided fantastic shock absorption while the outsole gave superb grip on slippery surfaces. The water-resistant Teflon-coated upper did let in some moisture, but made up for this by providing a secure fit and good breathability. The fit round the heel was glove-like and the toe box was roomy while still holding the foot in place.
