Berghaus Phobic Stable Dry

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion

The Phobic Stable Dry is a heavy-duty shoe that's not easy to run in - it was the heaviest shoe on test - but it will certainly protect your feet. A tough rubber outsole appears bomb-proof, while the Gore-Tex upper keeps the feet dry and well ventilated. The deep tread gives a solid grip on most surfaces, but it's not particularly responsive in the transition from heel to toe, so it's not advisable to use it on surfaces where nimbleness is required.
