Great all round offroader

Anonymous, just get on with the job of work asked of them. Good enough for fell use and with plenty of comfort for long outings. Not such an aggressive outsole that they won't stand a bit of road use to link sections. Reasonably wide in the forefoot for those of that fins some of the Performance Inov-8s a touch narrow.
None really. Slightly boxy in the tow which means there's a bit of dead space in front of the little toes (mine at least). Not particulary an issue unless really contouring on the steep stuff. No blisters, no discomfort.
Great offroad all-rounder.

Comfortable and offer good grip on off road trails.

The Roclite 295 is light shoe, lighter that my road shoes [Mizuno Wave] by a noticeable margin. Good positive feel on off road trails and the rugged sole provides excellent grip in all but excessively muddy conditions, when most would struggle to be honest. Very comfortable.
Soft rubber sole does wear fairly quickly, especially if you use them on tarmac, so stick to their intended purpose! I've pretty much worn out my first pair, but I've had them a year now and have covered a lot of (mainly) off road miles. Mesh upper means your feet will get wet if running through dew soaked grass or puddles.
Retiring my current pair after the Clarendon Marathon tomorrow, but will be replacing them with... another pair. Might go for the 318GTX for added waterproofing through winter but will get some more 295s for drier times!

great off road trail shoe, great grip, fit and comfort at an affordable price

More robust than my previous Roc-lite 315 which split on the upper, the 295 is a tougher shoe. The fit is snug and secure, they flex and grip on muddy trails. They are fantasitically light and provide enough support on uneven tracks. Easy to manage, a quick rinse and they look as good as new. I think great value compared to other products on the market.
My only small gripe is that they could provide slightly more protection from the wet but at the end of the day when your ankle deep in mud it doesn't make that much difference.
My second pair of Inov-8 and these are the best. Lighter and better fitting than others I have tried so I shall be sticking with them from now on.
I don't use them on the road as they are not designed for that, but use them off road and they are great...4x4 for trail running.

Excellent fit, light, and excellent grip in muddy conditions.

Shoe is quite light and very good grip wet conditions(mud).
Good fit and very comfortable.
Not great cushoning, but not using them for road. Can always add sorbothane if required.
Pleasantly surprised at comfort & weight, as it's a long time since I bought some off-road shoes.

EXCEPTIONAL GRIP AND SUPPORT

Fantastic grip from the Roclite sole and sticky rubber outsole. Good support for longer runs and natural spring from the fascia band.
Not a lot of cushioning.
A great responsive trail shoe at a good price.
