Salamon Spikecross 3CS daily use in Norway

I've been using these 4 days a week running to and from work (4 miles each way). Daily temp has been -7 and they are plenty warm enough with winter socks. Running on compacted snow and ice grip is superb. I use a full foot plant to increase contact. Lacing system is very efficient and I've used the same system on my cross country ski boots for 3 years without any problems. I wear 43 in Asics and these are a tad tighter but similar fit. I haven't run for more than 1 hour but I'm confident they would be comfortable for longer runs if you avoid tarmac.
They are expensive but as I only wear them on snow/ice for shortish runs I hope to get at least a couple of seasons out of them. The studs are deadly on tiled or parket flooring so you have to make the indoor part of your journey on socks - which might be a consideration if you have far to go.
They were sized at 43 1/3 which gives allowance for thicker winter socks. Lacing system is great -especially handy when your hands are cold.
