I am looking for advice on buying some trail shoes. I am waiting to get some orthoses done which should be ready in 4 weeks. Reading on the diferent type of shoes available it looks that I will need some motion control shoes, but I cant seem to find any trail shoes that fall into this category.
Any coments on the Salomon trail shoes would appreciated.

Ive worn salomon XA Pro - which have medial support. Nice shoes...quite small fitting i found. A variety of Salmon shoes seem to have the medial support that you are seeking...XA Comp as well as the Pro

Saucony Omni trail also have medial support.

I am pretty sure that Mizuno Ascend are also mildyl supportive.???

Check out some hi-tec too - i almost bought a pair of these...but didnt in the end....some of the new hi-tec running shoes look like theyd be really good. THey seem to be very scarce to get hold of though if you wanted to try them on...ive only ever seen them in shops inthe lake district!

I use Brooks Cascadia. Seem to do the trick. Colour schemes are a bit lurid though.

Oh I like the look of those lurid colors.
