Excellent grip on a variety of surfaces: snow, trail, grass. Fit OK. Lacing system may be cause of injury.
Good grip and no loss of traction or confidence on a variety of surfaces. I wore these for a 4 hour hill race on grass, road, forest track and bog and had no problems. Also good on hard packed snow.
Fit OK. Comfort not good in toe box with major blistering - not sure why.
Biggest problem has been the lacing system which my osteopath (ex-national level marathon runner) has said is the likely cause of my current injury. I probably overtightened the laces for a fartlek session and the plastic locking clasp pressed down on my tendons causing swelling and pain.
A good buy with the above caveat. I'll probably stick to my favourite manufacturer for road shoes - Asics and go for one of their off road versions.
