For a shoe designed for speed, this is impressively cushioned and stable – and yet still lightweight, meaning that it has broad appeal to a range of different runners. Responsiveness is good and testers reported feeling plush cushioning in the heel and just the right amount of firmness in the forefoot to help with toe-off. The lightweight torsion control device in the midfoot area keeps the foot rolling smoothly through from heel to toe, and the only real complaint was the lack of weather protection against the elements.
