LIKE RUNNING IN CARPET SLIPPERS.
Very light and comfortable.Excellent fit, extremely responsive and "fast feeling".
Terrific for 5 and 10K's etc,but my feet were starting to hurt by the end of a half marathon. As others have said, the lattice soles are prone to picking up small stones and gravel.I actually had to stop in my last race to remove a very annoying little stone that I couldn't shift-and I had to prise it out with a key!
Don't even think of wearing them off road.
A great shoe for racing on the roads. They are really comfortable and super-responsive.They make you feel as if you're running fast and are far and away the best racing shoe I've had so far.

LIGHT AND COMFY
A good choice for a runner who lands mid foot rather than on the heel, there is very little structural support in the shoe at all which is something I like.
Slightly wide so need to be laced a bit tight, the holes in the sole can get stones lodged in them but none have caused me problems yet.
I'm a 72kg guy racing 10km in around 42 min who lands mid/fore foot and these shoes suit me. I have 2 pairs and alternate them for around 25 miles roadwork a week. Probably overpriced though considering how minimal they are.

FEATHERLITE CUSHIONING
This is a fantastically light racer that somehow feels lighter than the DS Racer model. Both the rear and forefoot cushioning is excellent for such a light shoe and the upper is extremely breathable adding to the light "airy" feel. The shoe does have wide forefoot room making this racer an option for the broader footed competitor.
The laces need to be tied almost uncomfortably tight to ensure the shoe fits snug around the foot especially on the medial side otherwise the material around the arch can fold and cause potential blister points. The shoe is designed with small missing segments on the outsole through the midsole which offers the potential for pebbles and small stones to get stuck in. It has never happened to me yet but it does concern me. The traction of the Hyperspeed 2 could definitely be improved as the shoe features Asics traction material- AHAR on the heel strike area only.
A definite option for the lighter competitors out there. This is my shoe of choice for 10K races however i would love to see the out/midsole design changed so that the shoe could be used at longer distances- i personally wouldn't like to potentially have a pebble stuck in the sole for an extended period of time. The superb cushioning makes up this by providing a "cushy" ride time after time. The Hyperspeed does lack significant technologies compared to other racers on the market therefore i would to see this reflected in the price.
