Feel rather heavy for a race shoe and have an overly roomy toebox. |
Most racing shoes encourage you to land on your forefoot or midfoot. This one promotes a heelstrike by including a hefty heel section and a contoured outsole designed to encourage the runner to land on the heel and roll through smoothly to forefoot. There’s also surprisingly chunky midfoot support considering the stripped-down appearance of the shoe, and the outsole flex grooves do a good job of pushing the foot up on to the toes quickly. The downsides are a rather heavy feel for a racer, and an overly roomy toebox.
