New Balance Minimus Zero

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
The weight and flexibility are impressive.

Quite a lot of lateral movement in the shoe and the fit feels uncomfortably tight.

New Balance has teamed up with Vibram (of FiveFingers fame) to create a shoe inspired, the makers say, by the barefoot running movement. The outsole is based on the Vibram design but without the individual toe slots. While the weight and flexibility are impressive, there is quite a lot of lateral movement in the shoe and the fit feels uncontoured and tight.
