Newton Distancia
These feel even lighter on the feet than their weight suggests - some of our testers reported almost forgetting they were wearing shoes at all.

I really rate this shoe, I prefer to use the motion for longer distance as it is slightly more durable and has a thicker insole! For anything upto half marathon this shoe is great! Continue reading...
Newton shoes will not be to everyone's taste and these racer/performance shoes are no exception. They are not reassuringly expensive at £120 because while they cost nearly twice as much as many of their competi Continue reading...

I think it is a very technical shoe, for long distance, hard terrain and light athletes, also for straight tracks, without turns. You must run for the shoe, not the shoe for you. Josep

Did 8 miles in mine today straight out of the box no problem, really comfy and a nice fast shoe! Love the colour scheme on these too much better than the motion that I also run in!

I have been doing fast sessions in these for around two months, and I love them. They're light, but unlike other flats they aren't eva foam straight on the ground, meaning that they're not wearing so quickly as my old flats. I'm starting to buy into the whole technology of the Newtons too - once you learn to hit the lugs right, they do make you feel faster and more efficient as you are running. I think they are a fantastic shoe, and am considering some Newton Gravitys for doing the rest of my mileage in when my current shoes wear out.
