I found the Salvations too hard and they caused the worst blister I have ever had on heel!

Light weight, nice looking
Poor heel design and too hard ever after being worn in
Will return to Asics........thought i would see what adidas has to offer. Will buy a top next time and Asics trainers!

Blisters much worse than previous model

good stability, relatively light and bouncy
expensive, murders the arches of my flat feet
After wearing the Salvation 1 for two years, and finding them good for helping with my over-pronation, I decided to give the version 2 a try.
Although the older model gave me a fair few issues with blistering (usually after 6+ miles), I naively thought that Adidas would have listened to many customers and dealt with the issue.
How wrong was I? The Version 2 rips my feet to bits, even at 5K distance! Such a shame because you'd never know this trying them on in the shop, otherwise I'm sure they're a good trainer.
What I don't get is that many runners who have flat feet tend to over-pronate, so this is such a disappointing design flaw.
If someone tells the Salvation 3 has addressed this issue, I'll order my pair now!

Good shoes, have helped ensure more balanced push off and no big toe pain.

Amazing heel cusioning, design helps ensure more even push off with toes which is why I got them, pretty stylish, lacing system is nice - easy to get snug fit, shoes very snug around front of foot more so than Mizuno Waves and Asics Gel 3000s had before.
Little heavier than other shoes, the tongue is pretty firm - may irritate some people.
These are good shoes and so far have helped avoid pain in my big toes through smoother transition and push off. I like other shoes better but they weren't worth pain.
