Interesting experience yesterday... Normally run in Asics Kayanos or my Asics GT2120s. Both structured cushioning and perfect for me. Never any problems with ankles, feet, shinsplints etc.

I need to get myself fitted for a new pair of runners, other than Sweat Shop can anyone recommend a decent running shop in Reading?

As far as I'm aware, there isn't one. John Lewis has a smallish selection of running shoes, but that's about it.

Depending on what kind of shoes you want, it might be worth looking in Altimus, on St Marys Butts (next door to Milletts), but they're more of an outdoor pursuits shop than specialised running place.
