A mid-range, mid-support shoe that is quietly effective. There are a few significant changes – to good cushioning and solid pronation protection Adidas has added a more flexible toe box, a better sculpted heel and Continental rubber on the outsole, which gave excellent grip even in the wet. Responsiveness was only average and the shoe is on the slightly heavy side for the amount of protection it offers, but this will see a wide range of runners safely through the longer runs in a marathon training schedule.
