Adidas Supernova Sequence II

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
ForMotion technology

Poor breathability

Like its predecessor, it has ForMotion technology in the heel to dissipate shock and help with a smooth transition, and a Torsion system in the midfoot to give the right balance of flexibility and support. New features are added adiPRENE cushioning in the forefoot, a forefoot flex groove in the outsole to provide more medial stability and the women's version comes with a gender-specific last.

A mild stability shoe for efficient runners. The consensus among testers was that the levels of cushioning were superb for short and medium runs but that support would not be sufficient for long runs. Durability was excellent but breathability of the synthetic upper was poor. Our wear-testers say: "The shoes felt more comfortable out of the box than any shoe I've had." - Jason O'Malley
