I need a new shoe to work in alongside my Kayano14s.

Kayano 14 is my first support shoe (switched from nimbus 9, 10).  Got along fine with K14 for the last 300 miles.  As a matter of routine I was intending to buy K15.. but I've just read a few mixed reviews when compared to K14, even though RW editors choice.

Perhaps it is time for me to jump asics ship?    can anyone recommend a moderate support shoe that gets along like K14 ?

Soory, but I had the 14's and now the 15's and cant honestly say there is much difference.  I love em both.

If the 14's suit can't you get a pair from somewhere on the internet, presumably with 2 benefits:

 a) they'll be cheaper

b) they won't be that rather peculiar brown colour !

I've had 3 pairs of 14's and always found them good but i did tend to suffer as they got over the 350 - 400 mile mark and the cushioning started to wear out.

They will be after the first few runs in the rain!

I've just picked up a pair of 14's loads of places offering them at knock down prices so get em while you can.

Always gone back to Kayano's tried many other shoes but never found anything as good and they suit me perfect, the Kayano's don't change that much usually just in colour scheme from 1 model to the next.

Hmmm!  Funny that!

Had a pair of Kayanos years back (white, blue, yellow, silver).  Prob Kayano 3 or 4!  Were the most wonderful running shoes I've ever had, without any shadow of doubt.  Owned some grey/red ones a couple years later, which were pretty good, but not quite the same.

Bought a pair of 14s and I don't really like them at all!!!  Find them quite hard and slappy and now they're giving me a bruised left foot!
