The usual Kayanos. Great straight from the box but hefty price tag
I have run in Kayanos for the last 2 years and am on my 4th pair. The 16's I think feel marginally lighter than the 15's and as like every other pair you can do a normal run straight from the box with no problems. Good support and reasonable cushioning and nice wide toe box which I need. Good breathability. My feet sweat an asul lot and these keep them reasonably dry. Reasonable grip for occasional trail runs to.
The cons have to be the hefty price tag, although if you shop around you can get them for approx £40 cheaper. I cannot understand why they are so expensive. I find the heel section wears away a bit too quick for my liking but that could just be the way I run..Colour, would be nice if the black version were more easily available.
I like the Kayanos, they do everything that I need them to do. Unfortunatley I cannot see that there is a vast difference between the 16's and the 15's. Where as you could really notice the difference between the 14's and the 15's. When I need to replace my 15's I wanted to try the 16's but now I have I would say that if you find the 15's at a good price then go for them as there really seems to be little difference.
