Avia Avi-Lite Guide

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion

The Avi-Lite Guide has support from a wider forefoot, overlays on the upper that help to cradle the midfoot, and a dense foam medial post. It has a low profile for a stable but fast feel.

Though it's not incredibly light, this shoe runs like a racing shoe and would work as one for heavier runners or those who normally need lots of support. For lighter runners it's a decent, if pretty standard, stability shoe. Our testers, used to more heavy-duty control in their everyday shoes, loved the fit and ride of the shoe. Our lab tests show that it's soft and flexible.

Our wear-testers say:

"The shoes were brilliant and a joy to run in, with no discomfort at all; in the past shoes have given me arch pain but these shoes didn't. A great fit with perfect cushioning." - Steve Jossop
