Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... nice!

Very comfortable straight away. More cushioning than previous shoes (Mizuno Inspire 5's), but still very responsive with lovely transition and toe-off. My mileage has now increased as training for VLM but if they continue to be this good, it's bye bye Mizuno, hello Brooks in future!
Not quite as light as Inspire's, and laces are too short... not enough to tie double knot and therefore keep having to check that they are not coming undone.
Very impressive shoe thus far... Hope they haven't changed the "10's" much?

PERFECT FOR ME

Light, Durable, Comfy
Price can be high for road trainer.
Excellent trainer but at a price.

A SIMPLY PERFECT FIRST SERIOUS SHOE

My first shoe with which I have trained for 10k and half-marathon. Absolutely no issues with it. No aches other than usual muscles from new activity and no blisters even with my bunion! It does everything the guys from Up and Running in Cheltenham promised. I will be renewing for the LM in April.

HAPPY TO BE BACK

I had the GTS 6 twice and was really happy, skipped the 7, and then had a really bad time with the 8. I found the fancy bits on the front rubbed the top of my foot and so went over to Asics. I wasn't super impressed and am really happy that the GTS 9 is a return to form, it feels like slipping on some comfy slippers.

BACK TO BROOKS

Trust the brand, no problems, just a shoe.
Not as flash as my GTS8.
My 3rd pair of shoes. 1st paid GTS8 brilliant. 2nd paid ASICS 2140, blister of 1st run, ITBS problems just before my 1st half mararthon. So back to Brooks for this pair and problems. ITBS calmed down (though I've been working/strengthening it) and they keep taking what I can give 'em. Brooks for life I think.
