Brooks Infiniti

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
This new shoe from Brooks is designed for faster runners who need some stability. The shoe has lots of MoGo - a midsole compound that provides a soft feel without sacrificing stability - in the forefoot for a plush toe-off. As well as this, it has good arch support for stability, plus deep grooves and DRB Accel - which enhances torsion of the midfoot - for a smooth heel-to-toe transition. Our lab tests show that this is at the top-end of the responsiveness scale, and this is borne out on the run, where it gives a really smooth, efficient ride. It's a soft shoe too, if a bit stiff and tight-fitting in the forefoot. Our wear-testers say: "It fits well, though I found it too heavy for faster runs." - Clare Elms
