I would be very greatfull if anybody out there has used these runners and what they think of them

scall42 - Running in them at the moment. I came down from Beasts (hence the forum name) when I got Orthotics and felt a motion control shoe was too much as well. The Vapors aren't bad and are good value but part of the reason for that is no forefront cushioning and I am tending to notice that a bit now, particularly now they are at 400 miles. However I am 13.5 to 14 stone. Also ran FLM in them last year OK.

I actually have a pair of Adrenalines as well which I used for longer races and although more expensive are a better shoe. Also just bought a pair of Trance. Wouldn't spend £100 on them but brought an old model pair for £60 and first impression is they are rather nice.

Vapors up to version 4 had no "extra" forefoot cushioning (of course they have forefoot cushioning... what do you think that huge wedge of EVA is???), but versions 5 and 6 do have hydroflow in the forefoot as well as the heel.

Bill - yes OK thanks for the correction. I was of course talking hydroflow. Interestingly I still didn't think they had it in the later versions although actually you might be right and I think it is the addition of Substance 257 rather than EVA and podular technology that are the additions on the Adrenaline.

In any case I think the ride of the Adrenaline is superior to the Vapor but the Vapor is still a good shoe (taking mine out today).
