Etonic Jepara 3 SC

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion

The new Jepara has shaved nearly 70g of weight off the previous model, mostly due to a lighter foam midsole and less rubber cushioning in the heel – although a wider midsole plate has been inserted to spread impact evenly throughout the shoe so that support and protection aren't lost. Memory foam in the heel collar and tongue help to give the shoe a soft, glove-like fit.

Managing to shave off all that weight and create a more flexible shoe while somehow increasing the support is an impressive trick, but Etonic has managed it. The cushioning is firmer than the old model and our testers loved the stability and snug fit of the new Jepara.

Our wear-testers say:

"Fantastic all-round shoe. It just worked." - Chris Hughes
