Fabulous shoes - on my second pair and about to buy my third

Great support and longevity
More room around the toes compared to others in the same size
Great feel on a variety or surfaces

none experienced

These are fantastic shoes, I rotate them on a regular basis with one or two other pairs when training and running 1/2 marathons.
Have never experienced black toes since the switching to these from adidas as they have more room around the toes.

Have performed well over a variety of surfaces and over half marathon distance my feet have felt good at the end.

Have tried others in the Mizuno range and will definately stick with these.

A good lightweight stability control shoe, excellent on roads but suffers on uneven ground

Lightweight
Flexible
Large toebox (plenty of room for fat feet like mine)
Offer good stability control
Great on road performance (ran the 40 miles Keswick to Barrow with no blisters or impact injuries)

When running off road (trails) you can feel every stone particularly after extended use
Limited longevity if you are an over-pronator such as myself, have done about 300 miles in them and would say that they had pretty much had it. (all seams are in good order, but the sole is very compressed around the ball of my foot and the shoe is losing it's rigidity

For the K2B run these were awesome, on finishing my feet were in good order without blisters, which is more than can be said for other years. The shoes are incredibly light (particularly for a stability control shoe) and so are good for long distance runs. If you are running regularly off road these are not the shoes for you as the padding at the front of the shoe is good for smooth surfaces but less so on uneven ground.
The shoes offer good width at the heal and toe box if you have wide feet like me, but I would question the long term longevity of these shoes if you are using them regularly and are a heavy over pronator.

Overall I have loved running in these shoes, but my increased mileage off road these days mean I lean more towards trail shoes at the moment. Would I buy them again? For running on roads definitely, for K2B definitely, for off road I would look for something else.

Lovely but short lived

Very light-weight and extremely comfortable with a nice feel on the foot from day 1

In a word - Durability my last pair lasted less than 200 miles and I am not extremely heavy (I weigh around 13 Stone). The forefoot could do with more cushioning.

I loved these and trained for and ran two half marathons in them with no blisters, black toes or any other problems. However, they do not last long enough and having to replace them so often is just too expensive.
