New Balance 755
Like its similarly-priced stability stablemate, the 767, the 755 is a lot of shoe for not a lot of money. It's a reasonably light, cushioned model with some interesting features.
In the heel, New Balance has added a plug of Abzorb cushioning foam beneath the EVA midsole but the 755's whole forefoot is made from Abzorb. New Balance says that this should make for a plush feel under the toes.
For extra cushioning there's another thin layer of Abzorb on top of the midsole and beneath the sockliner.
A wide last and the N-Lock lacing system - the N logo is attached to the laces - makes the 755 reasonably supportive too.
