Nike Air Structure Triax 12

Cushioning and responsiveness

Overly giving fit

The Triax has reduced overlays on the upper for better breathability and reduced weight, while the existing overlays are softer to keep the fit. he midsole foam is slightly thinner so ground feel is better. The women's version has deeper flexgrooves and gaps in the medial post to make the shoe more flexible. Both versions are now more eco-friendly.

The men's and women's Triax feel lighter and smoother. Some of our testers felt the fit was a bit too giving, perhaps a result of losing the overlays. The women's shoe is more flexible and responsive than the male version.

Our wear-testers say:

"Solid and stable, but still made for a bouncy, comfortable run. Look good too – not too bulky for a stability shoe." - Lisa Buckingham
