Nike Zoom Equalon+ 3 (W)

Stable transition

Roomy fit

Nike's narrow-fitting reputation is long gone, as this update makes clear. It's built on a new last that's narrower in the heel and more spacious in the forefoot. The medial post has been split to aid flexibility and this is another great gender-specific shoe from Nike: softer, more pliable and more responsive than the men's version.

Some testers liked the added space in the forefoot, while others felt it was slightly too roomy. It's miles away from the super-supportive first version of the Equalon, though still very stable, and transition is much better. Our wear-testers say:

"The fit was perfect with a roomy toebox and good support in the arch and heel." - Carol Ebihara
