Memory-foam collar

Stiff forefoot in women's version
The latest tweaks to the brand's top-of-the-range stability shoe are focused on

improving comfort – moisture-wicking mesh inserts are used in the collar and tongue, memory foam in the collar is designed to give a custom fit, while there's a bit more cushioning on offer from an

enhanced ProGrid section.

It's a case of "if it ain't broke…". Saucony hasn't meddled too much with the DNA of this well-regarded shoe, and our male testers praised how well the shoe balanced stability with response. However, the shoes felt stiff in the forefoot to some female testers. Our wear-testers say: "After a couple of runs they fit like a glove and felt great – loads of stability and put together really well." - Andy Bowen
