Narrow fit |
Saucony has focused on pimping out the interior of this shoe with a plush new insole and the introduction of memory foam in the collar area. Other than that, the shoe hasn't changed much, so the upper and midsole should feel similar to the previous version.
Designed to be a lighter stability shoe to control mild overpronation, our lab tests show the Guide 2 to offer average cushioning and flexibility. Some of our testers had a few problems with fit, finding the shoe a bit narrow. However, they appreciated the firmer ride of this over previous versions, liked the overall feel of the shoe and praised the good levels of support and comfort it offers.
Our wear-testers say:
"They feel more supportive than the previous version and now I'm used to the firmer feel I like running in them." - Suzi Hall
