Having had many of the preceding Saucony Omnis, it's probably about time to replace my Omni 5s - they're about 9 months old now and I've just been suffering from some achilles problems :-(

How do the new ones come up fit wise? Is a size 9 in the Omni 5 the same in the Omni 6?

Finances mean (best price) mail order is the most likely route, as I also need a new pair of fell shoes and will be patronising my local running shop for them!

I had 9.5 in the 5 (and 4, and 3) and have 9.5 in the 6.

There is more room in the forefoot in the 6 though.

Sounds good to me. With duck-like feet, I can never have too much room in the forefoot.

So much so that I have gone back to Omni 5s, which I can pick up for bargain prices now :-)

Shame, cos the Omni 6 is a comfy and good-looking shoe :-(

Be careful with this - I had the same when I moved from Asics Kayanos (12-13) - although the size felt OK (both 9.5s)during long runs they got more and more uncomfortable as i felt my foot was moving around too much in front of the shoe - the next week I tore a calf muscle....

Thats why I moved to the Omni 5's - hope the same thing isn't going to happen again with the 6's
