Saucony ProGrid Omni 7

Summary | Full Review | Reader Reviews | Gallery | Specs | Discussion
The heel has been split into sections for smoother heel-to-midfoot transition and the outsole is more durable than before. The upper is also more breathable.

The new segmented outsole in the heel of the Omni is designed to improve dispersion of impact forces. The result of this was that it made the firm midsole feel soft underfoot to our testers. The use of blown rubber on the outsole, lighter midsole foam and more breathable mesh in the upper all contribute towards reducing the weight of this latest version by around 28g. Our wear-testers say:

"These are the first Saucony shoes I’ve run in and I am very impressed. They’re stable enough to control my overpronation but they’re also really comfortable and cushioned, which makes a big difference as I run both on- and off-road." - Suzi Hall
